Quality Manager

As Quality Manager you will be responsible for the planning, development, implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of all FSQR systems in a location. You will lead a dedicated and enthusiastic team of 3 people. You will work closely with Operations and Supply Chain and provides extensive quality, product, regulatory and technical support to our Technical Service - & Sales teams. You are able to interact as well directly with customers, among them some of Cargill’s biggest food customers. Being pro-active, a strong communicator, service minded and a team player is key. The Quality Manager will report to the Regional Quality Manager Chocolate.Principal Accountabilities:

Ensure plant compliance to internal and external regulations and policies

Perform prevention activities and issue resolution, including managing and preparing for FSQR audits from Cargill, 3d party or customers.

Proactively identify risks and take action to prevent FSQR issues.

Develop, implement and assess process and systems and driving continuous improvement

Shape food safety, quality and regulatory culture/reputation

Leading the quality team, including training, development, performance management and engagement.

Description

Master degree (preferably with main focus on food)

5 years of working experience in food or related industry, cross-functional teamwork in a multinational environment, in Technical Services, i.e., Quality Management, Food Safety, Auditing

Leadership skills

Keen sense for priorities, structured approach, hold self and others accountable, customer focussed

High level knowledge of HACCP, ISO, GMP

Basic knowledge of Food and Feed Safety legislation

Know-how of specific analytical -and calibration techniques

Willing to travel for short periods of time

Intermediate knowledge of auditing techniques to manage risk and compliance

Excellent and efficient communication skills in Dutch and English (verbal and written)
