European Research Council funded job vacancy Postdoc and PhD positions in Hyperpolarized MRI

We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated PhD students and postdocs for research focused on the development of hyperpolarized MRI molecular imaging probes.
Target medical needs include neurodegenerative diseases, mental health, cancer and others. Studies include preclinical work, in vitro and in vivo, aimed towards clinical studies. The successful candidate will enjoy working in a cutting edge facility equipped with state-of-the-art instrumentation in the company of a multidisciplinary team of clinicians and basic scientists.
One position is set for a person with experience and knowhow in Siemens clinical MRI pulse sequence design (IDEA).
One position is set for a person with experience in NMR spectroscopy or clinical MRS.

Description

Our core facility includes a 5.8T narrow-bore spectrometer, a 3T Siemens clinical MRI scanner, and a HyperSense polarizer.
Academic and industry background welcome.

The work will be carried out under the supervision of Dr. Rachel Katz-Brull at the Center for Hyperpolarized MRI Molecular Imaging, located at the MRI Institute in the Department of Radiology of Hadassah Medical Center (Ein-Kerem Campus).
These positions are funded by an ERC grant.
