Software development as part of an EU research project in advanced multi-physics simulation technology
Advanced Multi-physics Simulation Technology (AMST) as part of a collaboration between inuTech GmbH and the University of Luxembourg. The 2 year project involves the design, layout and implementation of an intuitive pre-and post processor for a new to be developed coupled advanced mulit-physics simulation technology solver.The work is carried out in close cooperation with the University of Luxembourg.
Applicants are invited to work on the EU funded project
Applicants should have either at least 4 years of work experience since obtaining a university degree or hold a PhD in one of the following subject areas: computer science, applied mathematics, physics or mechanical engineering. Experience in C++, programming graphical user interfaces (e.g. with Qt), in numerical computations using finite element, Discrete Particle or Finite Volume methods, with mainstream CAE modelling software (i.e. ANSYS, NASTRAN, or ABAQUS) is essential. Knowledge in the area of numerical methods for solving coupled partial differential equations is desirable.
Due to EU requirements, the candidate must not have worked in Germany for more than 12 months in the last 3 years; German citizens wishing to apply must have worked outside Germany for 3 out of the last 4 years. There are no further restrictions on the nationality of the applicant.
inuTech GmbH is a German consulting company offering software and consulting services in the mathematical and engineering area. inuTech develops and markets the Diffpack Product Line for nu-merical modelling and simulation and has in-depth experience in the realm of FEM-technology and engineering consulting services.
