The candidate will be integrated in a European Commission IAPP project, called CECRIS and collaborating in a highly competitive and very motivated team working in the Development, Verification & Validation activities for railway industry. Especially in the development of the highest safety level product of Prolan, called ProSigma.
He/she shall have the opportunity to support the Verification & Validation processes of industrial products and process supporting tools (e.g. in the fields of fault-injection, qualitative and quantitative dependability analyses) for evaluating the robustness and dependability properties in Safety Critical Systems. Thus making more effective the V&V processes of these systems as a basis for system qualification/certification. As member of the testing team he/she shall have the opportunity to support the Verification & Validation processes.
Qualifications & Required Education Level:
Degree in system and/or software engineering, preferably in a field related to informatics, computer or electrical science. Experienced researcher* classification required.
*Experienced researcher: a researcher, who at the time of recruitment by the organization is already in possession of a doctoral degree, independently of the time taken to acquire it, or having at least 4 years of full-time equivalent research experience.
The successful candidate must be an Experienced Researcher in Computer Science Engineering (or similar technology area) with the following skills and qualifications:
- Master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering or another related discipline;
- Knowledge on Robustness and Dependability techniques and tools;
- Knowledge on tools design, development and validation;
- Experienced in C/C++/Java;
- Knowledge of railway safety-critical standards (EN50126, EN50128, EN50129, EN50159);
- Experience in product development, in Safety Case production for certification environments, and railway industry experience are important assets.
The newly recruited researcher may be of any nationality (Hungarian nationality is allowed) but have worked less than 12 months during the last 3 years in Hungary, and obey to the European Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers (http://ec.europa.eu/euraxess/index.cfm/rights/codeOfConduct).
The candidate shall not be a member of any participating institution of the European Commission CECRIS project.
Language: English, Hungarian is an advantage.
