Phd positions on Parallelizing Compiler for Extreme Scale HPC

We offer two Phd positions for 3 years in the area of parallelizing compiler technologies for C/C++ based parallel programs on extreme scale parallel architectures. You will work on compiler analyses and optimizations as well as on runtime techniques for optimizing parallel programs. Techniques of interest include: auto-tuning, auto-parallelization, iterative compilation, machine learning and search-based optimization for execution times, energy consumption, locality and scalability.

These positions can be started anytime.

Description

This research will be conducted as part of the Insieme compiler project. Details can be found at

Highly experienced with advanced C++ software development is prerequisite.
Sound knowledge with Linux based HPC, excellent communication skills are prerequisite. Applicants must be strong team players.
