Laboratory Imaging is a company recognized as a leader in the imaging software industry. We are the creators of the Nikon NIS-Elements software.
Laboratory Imaging is seeking for an experienced researcher in the field of image processing and analysis with good C++ programming skills. Biology background is a plus. The position is available for two years. The main research topics will be development of algorithms for cell segmentation, localization microscopy, tracking and other advanced imaging techniques.
Experienced researcher must have a doctoral degree or at least four years and less than five years of full-time equivalent research experience at the time of the recruitment.

International mobility rules apply: The candidate must not have lived, worked, or studied in the Czech Republic for more than 12 months in the three years prior to the reference date and must be a member of EU.
The project is funded by a research network support from the Maria Curie Initial Training Network (ITN) with the project title: Developing single cell technologies for systems biology. The candidate will benefit from the close interaction of several laboratories in EU project. The total employee cost allowed is the nominal Euro 58 500 plus mobility allowance (700-1000 EUR/month), adjusted for the Czech Republic coefficient of 0.883%. Out of this amount the employers and employees contributions, as well as the income tax applicable to the researcher, will be deducted.
