Marie Curie Actions funded job vacancy Marie Curie ESR position in EMVeM - Development of an integrated modelling approach for mechatronic system energy flow analysis

The objective of the work is the development of an integrated modelling approach to analyse energy flow through mechatronic systems. As energy is a multi-physical attribute and is present under various forms (electrical, mechanical, thermal, ...) and as all of these forms are present in a mechatronic system, a holistic modelling approach is needed to capture all the interactions between the various forms of energy. After the definition of a general modelling methodology, the approach will be validated with measurements on an industrial machine application.
