The research program aims to analyze and evaluate the overall sustainability of the whole chain of recycling and recovery of WEEE in order to understand the feasibility and measure the social, environmental and economic performance of the innovative system proposed for the project E-WASTE. The program provides the definition of monitoring and evaluation system for the entire project, defining an appropriate set of indicators to assess the efficiency, effectiveness, sustainability and impact of the whole supply chain, taking into account different phases of the recycling and recovery process: involvement and active participation of citizens, schools and public administrations, strengthening the collection through the raising awareness, the new SMART basket proposed and the ICT platform, the dismantling, the separation, the grinding, the recovery, the conversion of industrial plants, the training of operators and the re-introduction of materials recovered on the market .
