The objective of this studentship is to characterise vascular mild- cognitive impairment and vascular dementia compared to cognitively healthy ageing in community dwelling older adults using a multidisciplinary research approach. A wide range of brain functions, including those related to vision, attention, executive function and processing speed will be investigated in a way appropriate for clinical application.
