ANALISIS OF THE INTERNATIONAL DATABASES OF SPONTANEOUS ADR REPORTING FOR THE SISTEMATIC EVALUATION OF NEW WARNING SIGNALS

Please note that the job is no longer active!

The aim of this project is to analyse suspected spontaneous ADR collected in international databases, to identify early warning signals related to drug-reaction combinations, with particular interest for those unknown and serious and to highlights new aspects of already known ADRs. Our investigation will be based on the databases from Europe (EudraVigilance - EV), from WHO (VigiBase) and from the USA (FDA-AERS). A disproportionality statistical analysis will be performed through the computation and evaluation of the Proportional Reporting Ratio (PRR) and the Reporting Odds Ratio (ROR), as suggested by the international pharmacovigilance guidelines. Our purpose is to disclose new potential warning signals, to identify potential risks related to use of a medicinal product, in order to stimulate ad-hoc observational studies designed to suitable scientific investigation and to collect new data on the ongoing assessment of the risk/benefit balance, with particular attention for new drugs.

Please note that the full description may be available in the national language since some job boards have their own publication policy. Thank you for your understanding!
