We will design and realize an optical bio-sensor based on array of plasmonic crystals and on the possibility of multiplexing detection by means of integrated photodetectors. The core of the devices is an optical sensing element constituted by grating sensor exploiting the enhanced sensitivity of focusing plasmonic configurations. Long range surface plasmonic waves, adiabatic compression and Extraordinary Transmission effects of SPP will be exploited to achieve the highest concentration of e.m. field. The best architectures for the integration in the microfluidic circuits will be proposed for the assembly of the biosensor also exploiting symetems for the generation of surface acoustic waves.
