European Research Council funded fellowship F-CHROMA: Flare Chromospheres: Observations, Models and Archives

Observations and analysis of chromospheric solar flares:

Planning and execution of new flare observing sequences (including spectropolarimetric ones) utilizing existing ground-based and space-based instrumentation. Planning of optimized (chomospheric) flare observing sequences for forthcoming facilities, such as Solar Orbiter, Solar-C, ATST, etc.;

Analysis and interpretation of high resolution observations of chromospheric solar flares, in co-operation with the F-CHROMA partners and as an input to modelling efforts to be conducted within said project;

Populate an archive of ground-based flare observations, both existing and to be procured during the course of this fellowship, for use within the F-CHROMA
