Human noroviruses are the dominant cause of outbreaks of gastroenteritis around the world. There are no vaccines, antivirals, or treatment against norovirus and like influenza virus norovirus evolves every other year - leading to new strains and pandemic outbreaks of gastroenteritis [1].
