The research aims to extract from best practices at the international and national levels about Smart City methods and operating tools aimed at the efficient regulation of time and cycles of medium-sized cities, in order to increase the integration between urban intelligence, environmental sustainability and social inclusion.
The introduction of technologies, digital protocols and communication devices in the urban organism must offer an opportunity to rethink the city, to redefine the profiles of development, competitiveness and cohesion in order to input a swing power able to provide the necessary thrust to overcome decline. The Smart Cities could be, in addition to being drivers of competitiveness, aggregation of intelligence, generator of creativity, incubator of innovation and stimulation of communities
