http://www.unimib.it/link/news.jsp?3094872359936811069 the project aims to develop superconducting microwave microresonator sensors for neutrino physics experiments such the calorimetric direct neutrino mass measurements. The projects consists in the device design optimization and in the characterization of new superconducting materials, like metallic nitrides and carbides. In order to characterize the devices fabricated in the project a special test-bed is being developed. It is made of a cryogenic component for reading out the detectors and of a room temperature part for the homdyne detection of microwave modulated signals. A further improvement of the device test-bed consists in the development of a digital system for the frequency domain multiplexing of the device signals.
