The supervisors at NIAB-TAG and WU-PBR have collaborated for 4 years within a European ERA-Plant Genomics project: TritNONHOST, looking into comparative functional genomic analyses of host vs non-host resistance, in barley vs wheat. The ESR's PhD project will build on the outputs of TritNONHOST, while being part of a new collaborative team within ERA-CAP project: DURESTrit, due to start in early 2014.
