Evaluation of the high temperature rheological behaviour in solid and semisolid conditions of stainless steels used for Oil & gas applications using physical simulations by Gleeble and standard tensile tests
'HR Excellence in Research' logo awarded to institutions actively implementing the European Charter and Code for Researchers.
Please note that the job is no longer active!
The Research Fellow shall be involved in a wide mechanical characterization of the most common alloys adopted in extreme operative conditions, such as Oil&Gas environment. Tests will be carried out using both the physic simulator Gleeble 3180 and the universal tensile test machine Instron 4485: in fact results will be used for modelling the mechanical behaviour in solid and semisolid conditions. Such models shall be implemented in numerical models for simulating the creep and the semisolid behaviour of the investigated alloys. Microstructural analyses on the tested specimens shall be also used for obtaining additional informations.
Please note that the full description may be available in the national language since some job boards have their own publication policy. Thank you for your understanding!
Candidates are requested to forward receipt of payment of € 25,82 in favour of Politecnico di Bari, Via Amendola n. 126/b, 70126 BARI - ITALY, C/C 9704, together with the application for attending the procedure for awarding the research grant, as demanded by the announcement of selection
Assessment on the basis of academic qualifications and an oral examination
