Development of algebraic-geometric methods for particle analysis, focusing on the case of keratin fibers on stubs

Please note that the job is no longer active!

In the engineering phase of the previous project CLASH the particle analysis tool, provided by the manufacturer of the electronic microscope and which should be used to produce the images to be processed, turned out unable to meet the requirements for identifying fibers on a stub. This tool is necessary to automatically classify keratin fibers.

The particle analysis is in general a useful tool in other application areas, such as processing of rubber and metal.

In implementing the program will address the specific problem at first, treating even the issues of compatibility and integration with the microscope.

Then we will try to assess how the proposed algorithm is suitable to be used and / or generalized to other contexts.

Please note that the full description may be available in the national language since some job boards have their own publication policy. Thank you for your understanding!
