DEFINITION OF CRITERIA FOR OPTIMAL MANAGEMENT OF RESERVOIRS AND WATER CONSERVATION

Please note that the job is no longer active!

The activity plan follows two main lines . The first involves the testing of the use of smart and diffuse monitoring devices, for monitoring the real-time consumption and hydraulic characteristics of the network, up to the end users. Based on the data collected we will develop: a) advanced simulation models for the implementation of water budgets for the reliable estimate of the real and apparent water losses; b) models for forecasting consumption and optimal management of networks, with dynamic learning, aimed at water and energy saving. The second research line focusses on collection, homogenization and processing of hydro- meteorological data, together with consistency check and reconstruction of missing and erroneous data (where needed). Also, historical rules for reservoir management will be collected for real case studies, in order to evaluate the effects of different management rules and to optimize reservoir management.

Please note that the full description may be available in the national language since some job boards have their own publication policy. Thank you for your understanding!
