Marie Curie Actions funded fellowship Cryogenic optomechanics with a cavity-membrane system

Mainly theoretical research work focused on the study of the radiation pressure

interaction of a high-finesse multimode optical cavity with a thin dielectric

membrane inside and its possible variations. Study will focus on the application

of these systems for exploring foundational aspects of quantum mechanics in the

macroscopic limit and for quantum information applications.
