Study of control algorithms for dynamic resource allocation in a CDN for the delivery of adaptive video streams

Multimedia content distribution platforms must handle efficiently the available resources and contents. The main goal of the research is the study of control algorithms for the dynamic resource allocation to guarantee QoS and QoE requirements. In particular, the following research topics will be dealt: congestion and overload control for multimedia real-time flows (video conference), resource allocation in a CDN for the distribution of adaptive streaming, control algorithms for adaptive video streaming
