The financial crisis has shown the strong connection between private (of the financial system) and public debt. This has produced and new mechanism to address the resolution of banking crisis and a unique system of supervision of banks. The research project consists in the analysis and in monitoring the rules that are going to be defined in this field with the goal to identify the main novelties from an operational and methodological point of view for the applications of quantitative finance to capital markets and risk management.
