The assessment of body composition and humoral factors involved in it in patients affected by stroke is essential to highlight pre-existing conditions of malnutrition, up or down, and restore or maintain adequate nutritional status. After emergency treatment, care post-stroke focus on the recovery of forces, capabilities, and then on the resumption of independent existence. Nutritional goals during the period of the patient's post-stroke neurorehabilitation are aimed at the correction of protein-energy malnutrition, which predisposes to loss of muscle mass and that aggravates the motor disability and reduced ability to resist oxidative insults. The research aims to analyze in post-stroke patients, the efficacy of neuro rehabilitation on the segmental body composition, on the resting metabolism, on the quantitative determination of adipokines involved metabolic homeostasis, and on oxidative and inflammatory markers
