The project involves the study and the development of an innovative and user-friendly technology able to help the elderly in the management of daily activities.
The research activity is related with the project HEREiAM, co-funded by the Italian Ministry of University and Research (MIUR) under the AAL Joint Programme 2012 – Call 5. The general aim is the development of an interoperable platform that enables the older people to have direct access to different services using the TV set at home. The first objective will be related with the analysis of the elders needs in relation to home care and the definition of the specifications of the system in terms of functionality and interaction. The second task will involve the development of electronic systems and tele-home-care custom applications, based on DVB technology and designed specifically for the elderly. Finally, the candidate will co-operate to the preliminary validation of the system.
