The increasing introduction of composite materials in the aeronautical manufacturing implies that the non-destructive inspection techniques have become one of the factors that most significantly affect the production costs. The research activity concerns an innovative methodological approach, in which the inspection phase is decomposed into three sub-phases (3phase Inspection) and integrated with soft computing methodologies implemented on high performance computing (HPC) systems.

The selection criteria, determined by the Commission, will be expressed in a 100 points scale and will include, with appropriate evaluation, the following items: Evaluation of a possible PhD thesis; Laurea (Bachelor) Graduation mark; Publications and other research products; Other documents related to activities in national or international research institutes carried out as contractor, fellow or any other position holder. The time and the length of the research activity performed must be duly attested; Interview
The examination consists of an interview that will focus on the scientific expertise of the candidate with particular focus on the research project (see art. 1 of the announcement). Specifically, expertise in molecular biology and genetics applied to plant research is required, along with an in-depth knowledge of the main tools of bioinformatics and a proven laboratory experience. Applicants must have a valid ID to be eligible for the interview. During the interview, the Commission will verify the applicant's ability to discuss the topics of the present selection.
