Assessment of environmental diffusion of pollutants emitted from the activities of the production site Laterlite SpA Rubbiano and characterization of exposure of the local population

Please note that the job is no longer active!

The research has three main objectives:

- The development of a modeling system for the assessment of air emissions resulting from the different productive activities in place at the plant Laterlite Spa Rubbiano (point sources, fugitive emissions, wind erosion, etc..).

- Evaluation of the emission of atmospheric diffusion. Given the complex orography of the territory will be used non-stationary models (eg, a puff or particle).

- The assessment of the level of exposure of local populations to pollution, through the definition of proxy variables based on, for example, the residence of the subjects. We will evaluate the possibility to quantify the risk to the health of those exposed through exposure-response models for carcinogenic pollutants and / or toxic gases.

Please note that the full description may be available in the national language since some job boards have their own publication policy. Thank you for your understanding!
