This project aims at developing innovative and multidisciplinary approaches to measure and manage systemic risk. The first goal of the project is to contribute to develop an integrated approach to systemic risk analysis, which accounts not only for financial risks, but also for non-financial sources of risk, such as climate changes, natural extreme events and environmental conditions.
After the identification of possible transmissions channels of this non-financial shocks to the economic and financial sectors, such as insurance or real estate markets, the project will focus on the measurement and modeling of the risk associated to the identified sources.
