Pattern of urban settlement and consumption bahaviour: comparing international experiences in Central and Southern Asia

Please note that the job is no longer active!

The outstanding morphological and functional transformation which has characterized urban phenomena in the recent past emerges as being deeply rooted within the reorganization of the distributional functions of goods and their flux. The present research aims at examining these processes by way of a special focus on the relation between the transformation of the residential modes and contexts (typologies of housing, but also the evolving dynamics of centralities and urban networks), and the change in behaviour and consumption patterns (new and upcoming tastes and necessities related to urban scales, mobility choices and rhythms). This study will offer a solid scientific contribution to this thematic cluster and will be framed around specific case-studies set out in Central and Southern Asia.

Please note that the full description may be available in the national language since some job boards have their own publication policy. Thank you for your understanding!
