Social classes, widely studied by several social sciences, are no longer a tool of economic analysis, at least within the marginalize approach. The project aims at updating and applying the approach to the study of social classes typical of British Classical political economists, integrating it with the most recent insights from the other social sciences.
The main characteristic of the project is the overlapping of methods proper of the history of economic thought, economic theory and empirical analysis. In the applied part, special emphasis will be given to current developments in the EU.
