From Fertile Crescent to Italy: the flax cultivation history

The project aims to investigate the origin and diffusion of cultivated flax. Will be sought the territories of flax origin and routes of diffusion from near East to Italy.
The project will be based on literature search and carpological analysis of Turkish and Italian sites excavated by Bologna University.
