Analysis of general architecture and design and analysis of structures of a VTOL aircraft - Ref. 253/2013

Please note that the job is no longer active!

The principal objective of the activity is the computational and experimental

investigation of novel concept of VTOL regarding its flight properties and flying qualities, and compare to helicopters, tilt rotor aircraft, or other VTOL aircraft concepts, in relation to potential utilization for transport missions in urban areas. This project is multidisciplinary, the main disciplines involved are the following: aerodynamics, structural analysis, flight mechanics and propulsion.

The present research program deals with the structural analysis of the aircraft. Static, dynamic and aeroelastic analyses will be carried out on metal and composite structures via advanced FEM models.

Please note that the full description may be available in the national language since some job boards have their own publication policy. Thank you for your understanding!
