Inventory and analysis of landslides potentially affecting the RFI Bologna district.

Please note that the job is no longer active!

The research aims to survey and analyze the landslides potentially affecting the railways pertaining to the RFI Bologna district. All phenomena will be considered and an appropriate form will be filled on the base of general geological and geomorphological information. Further selection will lead to the identification of the cases associated to higher risk. For each case, a detailed geological and geomorphological survey will be used to define relevant processes and their state of activity. The resulting maps will be implemented in a GIS system. Based on the interpretation of the phenomena, specific action aimed to mitigate the risk will be proposed. The research will be carried out in collaboration with RFI technicians and researchers of the BiGeA department.

Please note that the full description may be available in the national language since some job boards have their own publication policy. Thank you for your understanding!
