Development of reliability analysis, maintenance plans and models for the choice of decision-making policies for managing spare parts in a water utility company

Based on the positive results obtained in previous collaborative projects with the company Uniacque SpA, the research activity will be focused on the reliability analysis of the integrated water service plants in the city of Bergamo, through methodologies already tested in previous cases. This activity aims to improve the maintenance activities and to increase the operational availability of the analyzed systems. Particularly Uniacque needs a new reliability analysis for the water treatment plant of Bergamo which has high capacity input in face of small throughput process. According with this previous analysis, the development and the implementation of calculation models it will be carried out for the management of strategic materials and spare parts of the most critical equipment.
