Evaluation and control of tomato seed oil quality for cosmetic use

Please note that the job is no longer active!

The aim of this project is to study the whole industrial tomato chain, from the agronomic production to the transfer of products on the market. Innovative packaging (plastic, aluminium) will be studied through an industrial and technological optimization aimed to adapt the new pack to maintain the status quo of the production process. The tomato wastes valorization represents the biggest problem still to solve. The separation conditions of peel and seeds from wastes, the oil extraction from tomato seeds for fuel and cosmetic use, the supercritical fluids extraction of molecules biologically active, are the most important part of innovation area.

Please note that the full description may be available in the national language since some job boards have their own publication policy. Thank you for your understanding!
