Finding and geo-referencing of information on environmental risk and creating a risk index

The planned activities will evaluate the environmental potential risk from industrial facilities, (chemical plants, thermal power station, incinerators, ecc.) by means of the knowledge of the current state of the environment in terms of vulnerability and potential, and definition of the factors of pressure. The work will be based on the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS). The research will take place at the DIPSA and the researcher will develop the necessary mathematical physical tools.
