European Research Council funded fellowship CO2Volc: Quantifying the global volcanic CO2 flux

The subject of the research to be conducted is "Development and use of a CO2 LIDAR for the measurement of CO2 concentrations in a volcanic plume". The researcher will have responsibility for the development of the LIDAR, under the direction of the project coordinator and project partners. Validation and testing in the field with the new instrument is planned. At the conclusion of the research a report will be submitted by the researcher, summarizing their activities.

Eligibility criteria

To be admitted for selection the applicant must possess a doctorate in physics or geophysics, and have a good knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
