Research activities on food waste within the European Project FUSIONS (II)

FUSIONS - Food Use for Social Innovation by Optimizing Waste Prevention Strategies is a EU FP7 Project aimed to a more Resource Efficient Europe by significantly reducing food waste. The Grantee, during the grant period, will take part to the activities of the FUSIONS Work Packages (WPs) which involve Unibo-Distal. In particular: WP1: Reliable data and information sources, trends and assessment criteria; WP2: European Multi-stakeholder Platform; WP3: Recommendations for a Common EU Policy against food waste; WP5: Dissemination; WP6: Management. Within these WPs the Grantee, under the supervision of a Tutor and in collaboration with other researchers, will participate in: organization of the research work; data collecting and elaboration; writing project reports; project workshops and dissemination of results; European Multi-stakeholder Platform; technical accounting of fulfilled tasks.
