The regeneration of public housing in Italy: study for an integrated and

Please note that the job is no longer active!

In Italy, about 65% of the housing today stay in serious conditions of typological and structural performance obsolescence and require urgent interventions that could trigger a regeneration process for adapting housing to current regulations regarding seismic vulnerability and energy savings.

From this emerges the need to provide a maintenance strategy that is on one side of a “preventive” character - in order to avoid the decay of the artifact - and on the other to “corrective” character: so that it can restore a standard typological acceptable and updated performance, in order to bring housing to a higher quality level.

The research will deal with public housing regeneration - about problems related to the redevelopment of the built environment and the planning of necessary interventions - which is of strategic importance for the economic development of the country.

Please note that the full description may be available in the national language since some job boards have their own publication policy. Thank you for your understanding!
