Carbon footprint of big Events – EXPO 2015 – Communication area

The communication strategy and the ways to involve all the participants in the events carbon emissions reduction and mitigation will be defined. Materials and tools for awareness raising on the event carbon footprint will be prepared; the focus will be on the emissions linked to the behavior and choices of use/ consumption of individual. Proposals for behaviors with a lower carbon footprint will be defined, contribution to emissions offsetting will be considered too. The carbon mitigation and offsetting adopted by the organization and promoted by the Ministry of Environment will be communicated. The researcher will coordinate the work of either internal and external collaborators, in order to accomplish an effective communication plan.
