Personal and personalized parties in Italy

Please note that the job is no longer active!

The Italian political system, notwithstanding its institutional configuration, has progressively approached a presidential arrangement over the last decades. The research program aims to analyse a crucial dimension in the process of presidentialization of Italian politics: the personalization of party leadership. Its purpose is, first of all, to examine the centrality acquired by leaders in voting behavior and in the political communication of parties, in order to assess the size of this phenomenon and the differences between the main political forces. Another part of the program focuses on the “construction” of the leader and on the communication process started by these figures in the crucial stages of the organizational, political and electoral dynamic of each party

Please note that the full description may be available in the national language since some job boards have their own publication policy. Thank you for your understanding!
