Development of chromatographic methods with mass spectrometry detection for the validation of whole-cell biosensors

Please note that the job is no longer active!

The research project regards the development of chromatographic methods with mass spectrometry detection for the determination of organic compounds in environmental samples. The final aim of the project is the development of analytical methods suitable for the validation of whole-cell bioluminescent biosensors able to measure the concentration and biological activity of endocrine disruptors (e.g., compounds with estrogenic or androgenic activity such as synthetic hormones, pesticides, etc.) in real matrices, in particular in water samples. Research activities will comprise the development of suitable sample treatment and extraction procedures, the setup and optimization of the analytical methods (e.g., HPLC-ESI-MS/MS methods) and the analysis of environmental samples.

Please note that the full description may be available in the national language since some job boards have their own publication policy. Thank you for your understanding!
