The planned research activity falls within the framework of the EU-funded research grant BRIDGE and will be mainly focused on development and field-use of new techniques for the nearly real-time measurement of CO2 fluxes released from fumarolic fields of active hydrothermal system. Previous documented expertise in the field of hydrothermal fluid chemistry is therefore requested to applicants. Field work will be mainly executed on Sicilian an Campanian volcanoes
