Purpose of this research project is describing about one hundred medieval and Renaissance manuscripts containing rhetorical texts held into the Marciana Library of Venice. They have to be described following their ‘material’ aspect and their chronological and geographical origins, as well as their content (i.e. rhetorical and, in case, non rethorical texts). Besides, an accurate analysis of their place of origin and of their circulation in the cultural context of the Middle Ages and Renaissance schools and/or of private readers will be requested
Please note that the full description may be available in the national language since some job boards have their own publication policy. Thank you for your understanding!
