protocols for cooperating wireless sensor network

Please note that the job is no longer active!

The research activity is framed in the area of distributed and cooperating information system to be used on collecting data from a starred wireless sensor network. The main goal of the research activity is the design of robust best effort communication protocol to be used in the context of low power supply availability. Each node of the starred wireless is a sensor with autonomous power supply (a long life small battery) that collects timed measures of physical quantity. All these data are collected and processed to monitor and compare with a foreseen against the simulation of the physical model. Critical issues to be studied are the robustness of the communication protocol against the lower power consumption of the sensor battery, and the definition of an expressive simulation language based on the rule-action paradigm.

Please note that the full description may be available in the national language since some job boards have their own publication policy. Thank you for your understanding!
