The aim of the research project is to conduct an intensive analysis of some historical and bibliographic sources at the Gabinetto Vieusseux in Florence, which participates significantly to co-financing the research project. In particular, will be studied the rubrics of Vieusseux house guests, the Registers of subscribers, correspondences published and unpublished, the collections of travel guides and memories to investigate the role played by foreign people (Anglo-Saxon, French, German, Russian ...) – who had a large increase in the Thirties of the Nineteenth century - in the construction of networks functional to the circulation of ideas, goods, images and knowledge between Florence and Europe.
