Drop out, oppositional culture and young migrants. Practices and experimentation of alternative educational proposal between school, associations and volunteering

Please note that the job is no longer active!

The Project “Dropout, oppositional culture and young migrants” aims at proposing an alternative training course to those migrant youngsters affected by dropout and school failure. The experimentation will be realized inside/outside the school and it will involve voluntary associations. The project will also propose a training course on mentoring that will target adults working with youngsters (teachers and youth workers) in order to value both youngsters involvement in volunteering activities and the abilities/skills that voluntary work may entail. The experimentation will be based on an ethnographic research that will be carried out in formal and informal educational contexts (schools, training centres, associations and the street) considered as possible sites of non conventional learning. The project will involve different local actors in the experimentation of an alternative pedagogical model that will foster new ways to contrast school dropout.

Please note that the full description may be available in the national language since some job boards have their own publication policy. Thank you for your understanding!
