Turning obstacles into opportunities-Early interventions for developing Children's Bully Proofing Abilities

Please note that the job is no longer active!

The research project will involve classes of kindergarten and primary school, with the aim of sensitizing teachers and parents on the topic of bullying, and will support children of preschool and primary school in the acquisition of social skills that the literature has identified as protective factors against bullying: social problem-solving skills, emotional competence, prosocial behaviors.
The project involves as well the design and implementations of a program to prevent bullying addressed to teachers of kindergarten and primary schools, parents and children of the schools on the basis of a highly participatory methodology: for theachers there will be activities aimed at recognizing at-risk behavior and techniques for the management of the class, focussing on the development of prosocial skills and collaboration among peers. The children will follow an intervention program developed by the international research team involved in the project, funded by the European Commission.

Please note that the full description may be available in the national language since some job boards have their own publication policy. Thank you for your understanding!
