Lack of balance is among the most common and disabling symptoms that patients with MS experience
during the course of the disease. Diffusion Tensor Imaging (DTI) is a powerful means of studying the
organization of white matter. DTI parameters can be correlated with clinical or behavioural data to define
mechanisms of functional impairment or recovery. This approach will shed light on the balance deficit in MS
patients and its improvement following proprioceptive training.
