Smart applications and optimization in water distribtion systems

Please note that the job is no longer active!

The water distribution networks are complex systems and extended, for which the search for optimal solutions that satisfy the functional constraints and the required performance levels, it is crucial also to the need to reduce the environmental impact. The research project will consist of three lines: (a) analysis of hydraulic networks through graph theory, with the aim of obtaining a representation of the highest level and interpret the metrics in terms of water, (b) applications for smart quantitative monitoring and water quality, as well as aimed at the pre-localization of water losses, and control of the hydraulic devices, (c) development and application of optimization algorithms applied to problems of sizing and management of water distribution systems taking into account the appropriate integration with the research lines (a) and (b).

Please note that the full description may be available in the national language since some job boards have their own publication policy. Thank you for your understanding!
