The overall objective of the project is to investigate the propensity of long-term public policies in reducing regional disparities. The project is divided in: a) framework of regional economic system, using the main economic indicatoris to identify the main areas of regional growth, also using cartographic representations; b) identify long-term public policies (Eu/National/regional) in the Island. Policies must be evaluated using a quantitative approach (difference-in-difference, regression discontinuity design, propensity score matching, statistical matching); d)Using the results in a model of regional growth
